Week 35 (22 Mar - 26 Mar 2010)

Started off this week with site meeting with plumbers and bathroom supplier, this didn't take too long and things are now hopefully going to progress on this front next week.

Plasterers had hoped to have all walls and ceilings finished  in house by end of the week, and after a couple of long days, they moved out of the house on Thursday evening. At this point I must thank the Fenns for having an outside electrical socket which allowed the plasterers to tap into their electricity (without the Fenn's knowledge) when the generator they had been using to power the mixer for the finishing plaster gave up the ghost!

Friday saw the finishing coat going on the walls in the garage (lower level). I called round later that afternoon to inspect progress and as if by magic Mr Benn appeared behind me in the garage (oh sorry I mean Fenn!). Whilst trying to hop over a couple of planks he managed to put his shoe into the still wet plaster on the wall, so we now have a personalised signature for posterity!

So hopefully plumbers will start first fix on Monday and maybe, just maybe, the floors might go in towards end of next week.
